How Much Does White-Label Digital Marketing Cost in 2026?

If you run an agency, you've probably asked this: how much should I pay a white-label partner? There's no single price. The cost depends on the service, how much work you send, and how the partner charges.

The number that matters most isn't the price. It's your margin. This guide shows you how white-label pricing works, what pushes the price up or down, and how to check your profit before you sign anything.

The short answer

White-label partners usually charge in one of four ways: per deliverable, a monthly retainer, by the hour, or for a set block of team capacity. Video, paid ads and strategy work cost more than static posts or simple edits. A good deal is one that leaves you a healthy profit after your own time is counted.

The 4 ways white-label partners charge

1. Per deliverable. You pay a set price for each video, post, blog or design. This is easy to understand and easy to resell. Check how many revisions are included, because extra rounds can add up.

2. Monthly retainer. You pay one monthly fee for an agreed scope, for example 12 videos and 20 posts a month. This is the most common model for ongoing client work. It gives you a steady cost you can build your own pricing on.

3. Hourly. You pay for the time spent. It's flexible, but hard to predict. Your costs can grow without warning when a project gets messy.

4. Capacity plan. You book a set amount of team time each month and use it across your clients. This suits agencies with changing workloads, because you can move capacity where it's needed.

What pushes the price up or down

  • The type of work. Video editing, motion graphics and paid ads take more skill and time than static social posts.
  • Volume. More work each month usually means a better rate.
  • Speed. Rush jobs cost more. Ask what the normal turnaround is before you agree to anything.
  • Strategy vs. doing the work. A partner who plans the content, not just makes it, will charge more. It can also save you hours.
  • Quality checks. Partners with real review steps catch mistakes before your client sees them. That costs a little more and saves a lot.
  • Client-facing work. If the partner joins client calls under your brand, expect to pay for that time.

How to check your margin (an example)

Here's a simple example. The numbers are made up to show the math.

  • Your client pays you $4,000 a month for a social media package.
  • Your white-label partner charges you $2,000 a month to deliver it.
  • You spend about 8 hours a month managing the account. At $50 an hour, that's $400 of your time.

Your profit is $4,000 minus $2,000 minus $400, which is $1,600 a month, or 40%.

Many agencies use a simple rule: keep the partner's cost at about half of what you charge the client, or less. That leaves room for your time, sales and the odd surprise.

Hidden costs to ask about

Before you sign, ask about these:

  • Setup or onboarding fees
  • Rush fees
  • Limits on revisions
  • Stock footage, music or software costs
  • Minimum contract length
  • Payment and currency fees

A lower price with lots of extras can end up costing more than a clear, all-in price.

Cheap vs. right

The cheapest partner is rarely the cheapest choice. Late work, weak quality and endless fixes cost you time and can cost you clients. One lost client can wipe out a year of savings.

Look for clear pricing, steady quality, fast replies and a partner who protects your brand. If you're still deciding whether to outsource at all, read our guide on white-label marketing vs. in-house hiring.

How CORÉAL prices partnerships

CORÉAL partnerships are billed monthly. The scope is set for each agency, because a performance agency needs different things than a creative agency. Onboarding takes 7–14 days. FAQ

Is white-label cheaper than hiring?

Often, yes, especially when your workload goes up and down. You pay for the work you need, not for a full-time salary, benefits and tools.

Do white-label partners charge setup fees?

Some do and some don't. Always ask, and get it in writing.

What's a good margin on white-label work?

That depends on your market, but many agencies aim to keep fulfillment at about half of the client price, or less.

Can I start small?

Most partners will start with one client or one service. It's a smart way to test quality before you send more work.
